Goal

Lifelong Learning is a fundamental concept when technical changes happen frequently. Universities must find ways to support experts to keep their knowledge up to date. The discussions in the project aimed at finding ways how this can be achieved in Ethiopia. The development of a homogenized strategy for the four universities allows them to better cooperate, exchange ideas and content, and to reduce bureaucratic costs by standardizing the approach.

The discussion were done in two phases. In the initial phase, the basic strategy was defined and after that a handbook explained the different steps. This includes a description of good practices in mobile learning and micro-credentials, how to recognize prior learning, validation, and framework conditions.
