Unsere TU Wien: Places of memory between Prater, Arsenal, Karlsplatz, and Getreidemarkt

A research project in which the Spatial HCI lab is dedicated to the collection and visualizations of photos former and current researchers, students, employees of TU Wien have taken by means of AR technologies in-situ.

The project is a collaboration between the research areas of monument preservation, geoinformation, and computer graphics with the TU Wien archive and the Department of Data Protection and Document Management, and is funded as part of the fuTUrefit call.
As part of this project, current members as well as alumni and emeriti are collecting historical and current image material on the locations of TU Wien and their memories associated with them, in the spirit of an internal TU citizen science project. This database will be available online as an interactive map.
