Christopher received his master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Geodesy and Geoinformatics from the Vienna University of Technology in 2018 and 2017, respectively. The object of the work was to inquire into the impact more beautiful environments have on the number of social media photos and whether this could be correlated with real estate prices.
After graduating successfully, he went into the real estate industry as an analyst at OTTO Immobilien, where he is still employed. In 2021, this has led to a cooperation between OTTO Immobilien and the Vienna University of Technology over the course of his PhD thesis.
His current research focuses on capturing spatial and social economic aspects of real estate and their relation to pricing. As part of his work, he is investigating the effect various aspects have on property prices, and how these aspects can be used to deduce prediction models.
