Ioanna Gogousou was born in Athens , Greece in 1998. She received her Master’s Degree in 2022 from National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), from the Department of Rural Surveying and Geoinformatics Engineering. Her thesis was conducted in the Remote Sensing Laboratory of the Department and during her thesis she was focusing on self-supervised learning methods for image classification tasks. After her studies in Greece , she came to Vienna and started as a PhD student in the Geoinformation Research Group at the Vienna University of Technology (TU Wien) in 2023. Her present research focuses primarily on mobility-related analysis, routing algorithms, as well as geographic information systems and urban computing.
